Each year, Destination Imagination creates six new Team Challenges that span STEAM disciplines. Teams choose one challenge to work on throughout the season and present their solution at tournament.

Teams think on their feet, creating spontaneous performances based on prompts revealed at tournament time.

Teams design and build structures or devices tested for strength, efficiency, or other engineering criteria.

Teams identify a real community need and create a project that makes a lasting positive impact.
